Open Web Truss System

Open web trusses

Here is the open web truss system on the project we are framing at 514, 30th Ave, NE Calgary.  I really like the way they go together.  There is no cutting, just layout, install and start sheathing.  It may cost more for this system but just think about the plumbers, HVAC and electricians that do not need to cut holes through any of the webs.  For the home owner, there will be less dropped ceilings for ductwork.
